Jennifer Sinclair Lem August 11, 1944-December 12, 2011 Born Jennifer Sinclair Rust to George and Dorothy Rust in Liverpool, England. She was the beloved wife of John Lem for over 26 years. Her brother Mark Rust preceded Jennifer in death. She will forever be honored and remembered by her children Elysha Mettlin, Tristyn Gordon, and goddaughter Melissa Dedman-Enger. She remains in the breaths of her grandchildren Sarah Robbins, Rachael Couture, Gina Couture, Dylan Fisher, Alex Couture, Ethan Mettlin, Anastacia Mettlin, and god grandchild Etienne Dedman-Enger. Forever growing great grandchildren, Liam Robbins and Alescia Fisher, finish her line but start her legacy. On December 12, 2011 our family lost a matriarch. On December 12, 2011 heaven received a humble champion. Jennifer celebrated life and love at every point. Her love for the piano would fill the house; her passion moved her to support the civil rights movement and the ERA amendment for woman equality. Her heart led her to care for foster children, she became a mother to many, Patrick, in particular, was like a son to both her and John. Her undying love filled the lives of many people around her including her dogs Yukon and BO. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Seattle and later got her Master’s in counseling from Seattle Pacific University. This led her to become a special educational teacher and mentor for Seattle school districts. Jennifer was Grammy, Nana, a mother, wife, sister, best friend, mentor and role model. She was born a child and died our hero. Friends and family are invited to attend the memorial Friday, January 13th 2012 at 11:00am at Evergreen Community Church 20112 SE 152nd Renton, WA 98059. The service will continue to Tahoma National Cemetery 18600 SE 240th St. Kent, WA 98042. The wake will finish at Elysha’s home @ 15405 204th Ave SE REnton, wA 98059.
